A well-established manufacturer of industrial thermal processing equipment is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to support the assembly and wiring of control systems for heat-based manufacturing products at their New Columbia PA facility. This position involves building and wiring control panels for ovens furnaces and other temperature-controlled equipment used across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical panels and components for high-temperature processing equipment following schematics and layout instructions.
- Drill and prepare sheet metal panels mount electrical hardware and complete precise wiring of PLCs VFDs and related controls.
- Perform functional and quality inspections to verify accuracy of installation and wiring.
- Document issues and improvements using digital feedback systems.
- Apply knowledge of NEC electrical codes including conductor sizing wiring methods grounding and safe work practices.
- Follow OSHA safety standards with a strong emphasis on electrical safety.
Key Requirements:
- Two-year electrical degree or certificate from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of electrical codes and standards especially for industrial heating equipment.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in electrical assembly.
- Basic computer skills including ability to maintain records and use digital systems.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production schedules.
- Previous experience in an assembly or production environment preferred.

- Regularly required to stand walk and use hands for detailed assembly work.
- Occasionally required to climb balance kneel or crouch.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in environments exposed to electrical hazards.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $20-$23 depending on experience.
