Job Description
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Director
Location: Belgium
Company Overview:
We are seeking a visionary M&A Director to join a forwardthinking company committed to innovation and expansion. In this pivotal role you will be at the heart of driving the growth strategy through key mergers acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Youll lead a highperforming team and collaborate closely with senior executives to identify assess and execute critical transactions that will shape the companys future.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and refine the overarching M&A strategy ensuring it aligns with the companys broader business goals.
- Deal Origination: Proactively scout identify and evaluate exciting M&A opportunities partnerships and investment prospects. Leverage market research and networking to build a robust deal pipeline.
- Due Diligence: Spearhead due diligence efforts overseeing crossfunctional teams to evaluate financial operational and legal aspects of potential deals. Present findings risks and opportunities to the executive team.
- Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Lead the design of deal structures ensuring they align with strategic and financial objectives. Take the lead in negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- and Integration: Oversee the successful of M&A transactions from start to finish coordinating with legal finance and operational teams. Design and implement integration plans to unlock the full value of completed deals.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including legal teams financial institutions and potential targets. Stay informed on industry trends competitor activities and market dynamics to guide strategic decisions.
Requirements
What Were Looking For:
- Proven track record in M&A with successful leadership of highimpact transactions.
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

- Indepth knowledge of M&A processes legal frameworks and best practices.
- You have 6 to 10 years of significant transactions and M&A related experience in a consulting or financial services environment (banking insurance investment management etc. and/or you have a passion for financial markets and the financial industry in general
