As a Product Development Manager at THG youll:
- Assist and manage the endtoend development of new cosmetic products from concept to launch.
- Provide formulation expertise identifying emerging ingredient trends innovations and whitespace opportunities.
- Oversee all aspects of product testing including stability compatibility and efficacy studies ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with regulatory and quality teams to ensure products meet the highest standards of safety efficacy and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers driving seamless of development projects.
- Support onsite pilot and line trials troubleshooting and optimizing production processes as needed.
- Conduct market analysis to track industry trends and competitive product launches identifying areas for innovation and differentiation.
- Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously ensuring efficient and ontime delivery.
- Present new technologies and ingredient innovations to internal teams in an engaging and digestible manner.
What skills & experience do I need for this role
- 35 years of experience in cosmetic product development preferably in skincare
- Bachelors degree in chemistry biology biochemistry cosmetic science or a related field
- Passion for the beauty industry with a strong understanding of market trends and innovation drivers
- Deep technical knowledge of cosmetic formulations ingredient functionalities and emerging technologies
- Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Exceptional organizational skills problemsolving abilities and adaptability in a fastpaced environment
- Experience working crossfunctionally and managing projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to travel as needed
