Job Summary:
Key responsibilities of the Customer Technical Service Engineer (CTS Engineer) are to provide beverage bottle handling and ROPP capping support for Trivium plants and customers. The CTS Engineer will establish capping recommendations and support customer qualification of Trivium beverage bottles. The CTS Engineer will make routine service calls to Trivium and customer plants to audit and troubleshoot capping equipment and provide guidance to Trivium and customer representatives.
Job Duties:
Demonstrate and promote zeroharm culture of safety within Trivium and customer plants
Provide Trivium customers with an expert professional resource for resolution of mechanical problems related to beverage bottle capping
Ensure customers run Triviums products within established guidelines for optimal capping performance
Assist Triviums customers in establishing programs in the auditing repair and maintenance of capping equipment
Act as a resource for Trivium for qualification of Trivium material and in resolution of field problems.
Develop and manage capping guidelines
Support qualification protocol for new customers and/or products
Changeover and setup cappers in accordance with Trivium guidelines; perform capper audits and recommend maintenance and upgrades
Recommend preventative maintenance (PM) programs to increase efficiencies and eliminate downtime
Assist mechanics and line personnel performing equipment maintenance and overhauls
Meet with key clients assisting Trivium representatives with resolving customer issues and maintaining relationships
Prepare periodic customer technical reports
Coordinate with Commercial team and review market analyses to determine and prioritize customer needs
Continually update knowledge of current and developing tooling materials and technologies
Perform all other job duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Associate degree trade school or more than five years experience in the field is required.
Strong mechanical skills and ability to work through complex problems
Clear understanding of the ROPP capping process and to be able to resolve problems
Strong communication skills that span various levels of management both with customers and Trivium
Selfstarter with initiative integrity and an ability to develop relationships with customer personnel as well as Trivium teammates
Ability to establish and implement standard work that can be used across multiple regions is preferred
Require Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong analytical skills
Must be willing to travel to plant locations up to 80
