Job Title:
Development Manager Digital Technologies (Java Kafka MongoDB)
Responsibilities:
1. Team & Project Management:
- Lead product development teams for multiple projects focused on digital technologies and product offerings.
- Establish and enforce development best practices and methodologies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
2. Solution Design & :
- Collaborate across teams to shape software solutions and development processes ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Work closely with team leads (TLs) to define software solutions and oversee daytoday technical .
3. Development & Maintenance:
- Participate in the design review development and maintenance of enterprisegrade enduser software preferably in the Insurance / BFSI domain.
- Ensure compliance with project plans timelines and industry standards.
4. Business & Technical Analysis:
- Analyze and transform business requirements into detailed design specifications at system and programming levels.
- Estimate effort and timelines for proposed changes and development tasks.
5. PostImplementation Support:
- Provide support for production environments including troubleshooting and analysis of issues.
6. Strategic Leadership:
- Drive innovation in development practices and processes to ensure scalability and performance.
- Align software development initiatives with the longterm goals of the organization and its customers.
MustHave Skills:
Education:
- BE/MS/MCA or higher degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Experience:
- 12 years of development experience in relevant technologies with a strong track record of delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in backend development with Java.
- Strong experience with at least one of the following technologies:
- Apache Kafka / Confluent Kafka / Event Hub.
- MongoDB.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture preferably in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies including:
- CI/CD pipelines Git Docker Kubernetes Helm.
Core Skills:
- Proven ability to engineer largescale highavailability consumer web applications.
- Deep understanding of software engineering across all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently.
- Creative innovative and equipped with strong leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
