Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Massachusetts / Rhode Island is looking for a Foster Care Homefinder / Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for the recruitment assessment selection preservice training licensing and relicensing of therapeutic foster homes. You will also assist in clinical components of foster care placement and provide follow up with therapeutic foster homes. *THIS PERSON MUST BE BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH AND HAVE A FAMILIARITY WITH THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM IN MASSACHUSETTS. This person must understand procedures and programs and have a good knowledge of Case Mgt. There is a state system so the person does not need to go out and recruit new families but will need to keep the homes up to code help with relicsensing do home visits and documents. Must be good with children and families and have a compassionate and understand nature.

$1000 Sign on Bonus

Base pay starting at $20.46 up to $24.32 with higher education/experience in the field.

3 Days Paid Orientation Training

Schedule: MondayFriday 95 with occasional nights & weekends to meet with foster families (can be a bit flexible 106 etc based on visits that need to be conducted).

This is an onsite role with the exception of travel that is required to conduct home visits

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must have avalid drivers license with a good driving record.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • BA or BS in Human Services related fieldrequired
  • Bilingual English/SpanishREQUIRED
  • At least two 2 years of related experience with children and families REQUIRED
  • Must obtain your social worker license within 6 months of hire (min level is SWLA)
  • Virtual Gateway knowledge preferred
  • You must be able to attend a New Hire Orientation in Rutland MA Monday to Wednesday 8am 4pm
