Job Description

The Kirkwood are recruiting a HR Coordinator who will be an important member of The Kirkwoods small HR team. The HR Coordinator will have daily involvement in a full range of HR and recruitment related administration including data inputting into the HR systems employee wellbeing activities and recruitment & selection processes.


The HR Coordinator will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of HR related projects as well as provide daytoday support to line managers and employees on a diverse range of issues across a variety of settings including our main hospice site and throughout our retail network.


The HR team is made up of a HR Advisor HR Apprentice and this vacant post all reporting into the HR and Volunteer Services Manager.

The role is for 25 hours per week there is some flexibility about how this is structured though it would be preferable to have 4 weekdays covered. There is some flexibility in terms of work location including some homeworking and this can be reviewed with you from time to time.

You will be primarily based at The Kirkwoods Dalton (Huddersfield) location but will need to travel to other locations throughout Kirklees as required. Therefore it is essential that you hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
