PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary LOVE of teaching and learning believing every child can learn be collaborative bring joy and kindness to school each day.1. Adapts classroom activities assignments and/or materials under the direction of the supervising teacher for the purpose of supporting and reinforcing classroom objectives and meeting IEP Goals.2. Assists and escorts students when necessary for the purpose of attending to the students personal hygiene and care needs and arrival to/from destinations.3. Implements under the supervision of assigned teacher research based interventions for the purpose of presenting and/or reinforcing learning concepts.4. Intervenes in potential conflicts utilizing appropriate physical and/or therapeutic approaches for the purpose of diffusing confrontations and minimizing disruptions.5. Monitors students daily schedule and behavior plan (e.g. class schedule toileting medication appetite etc. for the purpose of maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.6. Assume other duties assigned by the classroom teacher7. This program runs from July 7 2025 to August 7 2025.
