About Us: ProLift Garage Doors of Keller specializes in the repair maintenance and installation of residential and commercial garage doors and gates. We take pride in delivering highquality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Our team is growing and we are looking for an intern eager to learn the trade and develop handson experience in the garage door and gate industry.
Job Overview: As a Garage Door & Gate Intern you will work closely with experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge and handson training in garage door and gate repair maintenance and installation. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands have strong communication skills and are interested in developing a skilled trade career.
Responsibilities:
Assist technicians in diagnosing and repairing garage doors and gates.
Learn to install garage doors openers and gate systems.
Help troubleshoot mechanical electrical and structural issues.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections under supervision.
Learn and follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with loading unloading and organizing tools and equipment.
Provide excellent customer service and professionalism on job sites.
Requirements:
Interest in learning a skilled trade in garage door and gate systems.
Enjoy working with their hands and problemsolving.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools.
Willingness to follow instructions and learn from experienced technicians.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
No prior experience required but handson experience with tools is a plus.
