Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and ensuring that clients receive exceptional service. This role requires strong communication skills a solid understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Review and analyze insurance policies to ensure appropriate coverage for clients needs.
- Provide proactive and personalized service to clients addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and conditions as well as to obtain competitive quotes for clients.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and provide guidance to clients on coverage options.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers advocating for clients interests and facilitating claims processes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in the commercial insurance industry.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products underwriting processes and risk management principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in using insurance industry software and MS Office tools.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant insurance certifications/licenses are a plus.
