Sulzer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team in Spain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering specifically with experience in Python .NET SQL Server Angular and Azure cloud technologies. This role involves both handson development and leadership responsibilities building up a team of talented software engineers to deliver cuttingedge solutions.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of scalable robust and secure software solutions using Python .NET SQL Server Angular and Azure.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of software engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Ultimately responsible for the team delivery.
Handson Development: Participate actively in coding debugging and reviewing code to ensure highquality software development.
Project Management: Oversee product roadmaps ensuring ontime delivery of solutions within budget and scope. Carry the role of Scrum Master.
Technical Expertise: Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices implementing them to enhance our software solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including product management quality assurance and operations to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Problem Solving: Address technical challenges troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions to complex problems.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture design decisions and product progress.
To succeed in this role you will need:
Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in .NET for backend development. Bonus if you are also familiar with Python and Machine Learning.
o Experience with SQL Server for database management.
o Strong knowledge of Angular for frontend development.
o Expertise in Azure cloud services and deployment of containers.
Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading and mentoring software development teams.
ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and accustomed to work in Agile / Scrum setup.
Agility: Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
