ASM Global the worlds leader in venue and event management is looking for parttime Parking Attendants to join our team and support a variety of functions at The Oncenter Convention Center Arena and Theaters.
FLSA Status: PartTime/NonExempt
Available Shifts: Varies

Min Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Max Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
THE ROLE
As a Parking Attendant at The Oncenter you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation direction and control of traffic in our parking lot and covered garage greeting guests as they park and selling parking tickets for facility events and/or day parkers.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Greet guests and sell tickets while always maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
Collect payments from guests either entering or exiting the facility(ies).
Count and verify number of tickets assigned and reconcile at end of shift.
Direct traffic to parking spots as needed.
Provide security services and report all incidents appropriately.
Be present and alert at all times while on duty.
Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers including radio contact.
Clean up trash and other debris around facility(ies) as needed.
Maintain predictable and reliable attendance.
Additional tasks as requested by supervisor or management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1 year in a guest services role.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays when necessary.
SKILLS YOULL NEED
Strong mathematical skills.
Selfstarter and able to operate under minimal supervision to accomplish work tasks.
Excellent hospitality and customer service skills service standards guest relations and etiquette.
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
Some knowledge of radio communication.
Acute sense of judgment tact and diplomacy.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
This position may require you to work both indoors and outdoors as required.
Position requires walking climbing stairs lifting and carrying 25 lbs and occasional sitting.
