Burr and Burton Academy seeks a teacher for its Target Program beginning August 2025. The Target Program was established in 1998 as BBAs alternative education program for students who need a small and highly personalized learning environment. Located in a satellite location on Richville Road in Manchester the programs mission is to meet the unique social emotional and academic needs of each student. Small class sizes allow faculty the opportunity to provide individualized instruction through core course offerings as well as a wide variety of electives that foster students curiosity and help prepare them for life after high school. Target faculty members are collaborators who build caring relationships with students deliver an engaging program and create a positive learning community in line with BBAs mission and core values. Ideal candidates have experience providing smallgroup and individualized instruction communicating and partnering with families and employing traumainformed pedagogy and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
