The Role:
Our site in Bedford MA is seeking a/an R&D Surface Modification CoOp to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
This R&D Coop role is aimed at developing the skills of students in the field of surface chemistry material science and engineering. In this role the coop student will support technology development new product development and scale up of advanced membranes for leading edge semiconductor chip manufacturing applications.
What Youll Do:
Gain an understanding of the concepts methods and equipment of surface modification technology development.
Conduct experiments to test surface modified membrane prototypes.
Analyze experimental data to support the team to make data drive decision.
Work with Scientist within the team to document new processes and methods.
Follow Entegris safety procedures and guidelines.
What We Seek:
Experience with chemistry lab.
Basic skills with Microsoft Office Excel.
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
Chemistry Material Science and Engineering Chemical Engineering or related field.
Graduation date of 2026 or sooner
Eligibility:
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week MF 8a5p) beginning in July through December
Must be familiar with the universitys requirements to participate in a coop program

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs.

Compensation: $20$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
