Chapman Las Vegas Dodge Chrysler Jeep is looking for Sales Lot Porters to join our team! Lot Porters provide support to the sales department by maintaining the appearance and organization of vehicles on the sales lot. Additionally Lot Porters contribute to the customer experience by maintaining an inviting and welcoming sales lot leaving or guests and customers with a positive first impression. Core Responsibilities:
- Park vehicles in designated areas and ensure they are properly aligned.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicle interiors and exteriors.
- Ensure vehicles are ready for test drives by replenishing gas and other vehicle fluids and replacing batteries as needed.
- Keep the vehicle lots and customer parking areas clean and free from debris.
- Move vehicles as directed by sales and service personnel.
- Monitor vehicle keys and ensure they are properly stored and accounted for.
- Make key tags and place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
- Provide support to the sales and service departments as needed.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrates teamwork organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in fastpaced environment.
- Physical requirements include the ability to walk or stand for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus!
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
We are open Monday Saturday 8am 9pm scheduled shifts may vary based on business needs. We offer a 5day workweek including Sundays and one weekday off. In this role you will spend the majority of your shift working outdoors on the sales lot driving and moving vehicles.
