SENIOR PRODUCT DIRECTOR APPAREL NORTH AMERICA EXPRESS LANE NIKE Inc.

WHO YOULL WORK WITH

This role reports to the General Manager of North America Express Lane and will manage a team of Product Line Managers and Product Developers who are responsible for Mens Womens Kids apparel. Key partners include Merchandising Design Planning Brand and Sales teams. This is a highly matrixed organization and this individual will regularly need to pull together key stakeholders for alignment. You will contribute a deep understanding of the consumer industry competition and North America marketplace. Your partners and teammates will appreciate your ability build and execute strategies bring process clarity have an entrepreneurial mindset and bring positive energy to a large and diverse group.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Senior Product Director Apparel for North America Express Lane. This role is responsible for leading product strategy and product creation that inspires movement for every day and elite athletes. This person will possess a strong strategic vision excellent communication skills and be adept at effectively influencing others. Ideal candidates should embody a balance of art and science possessing equally strong product aesthetics and business insight.

  • Professional experience in Apparel Industry
  • Bachelors degree and 15 years of experience in a product merchandising buying or a combination of relevant education experience and training
  • Indepth understanding of sport and/or fashion consumer marketplace competition and industry trends
  • Highlevel product foresight / aesthetic sensibility
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team and enable collaborative working relationships
  • Business insight & strong analytical abilities
  • Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20 of the time

WHAT YOULL WORK ON

The Senior Product Director Apparel for North America Express Lane will be responsible for driving the product creation process from initial concept through to commercialization and production. You will ensure ontime delivery and development according to critical dates product specification performance and profitability goals.

You will be responsible for all product realization including the planning and evolution of product lines and ultimately the profitability of the business. You will be responsible for leading the North America geographys product creation team and the direction of seasonal product stories including overseeing the evolution of product lines.
