The opportunity
We have a great opportunity for a Finance Analyst to work closely with the team to deliver key monthly and quarterly deliverables within tight deadlines to senior stakeholders.
Your new role:
In this role you will support the monthly/quarterly management reporting of the P&L results for the QBE Division within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely delivery of Finance Actuarial and Legal reporting to meet various regulatory and executive management requirements. within the regional QBE FAL Department.
You will:
- Deliver detailed and insightful reporting analysis on monthly and quarterly management results and ensure the reports are accurate comprehensive and useful for decisionmaking
- Gain a thorough understanding of the core management reporting processes and help in identifying areas for improvement and driving enhancements in both processes and capabilities
- Work closely with the offshore support by providing direction guidance and support to these teams ensures that they are aligned with the overall objectives and can contribute effectively.
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements obligations and operate within the legal framework
- Build and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the Finance community
- Meet reporting deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks and deliverables are completed within timelines.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have a strong blend of technical analytical and business acumen. Proficiency in financial modeling data analysis along with a solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to interpret financial statements such as income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
You will have:
- Strong business insight and strategic thinking help connect financial data to broader business goals with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis.
- Effective communication for translating complex financial data into clear insights for decisionmakers.
- Good problemsolving and collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
