The College of Dentistry is looking for an Postdoctoral Research Associate to serve in the department of Biomedical Sciences.We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above.The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fastpaced environment. This person must be professional enjoy working in a highvolume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine. What you need to know
Proposed Minimum Salary: Commensurate based on selected hires qualifications.
Work Schedule/Location:This is an onsite role with a typical schedule of Monday Friday 8am to 5pm.

Required Education and Experience:
PhD degree in Neuroscience. No experience required.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong background and skills in slice recording combined with optogenetic manipulation.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work independently with general supervision meet deadlines be detailoriented and to prioritize tasks.
Willingness to work with research animals (mice and rats).
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in neuroscience research.
Experience in multidisciplinary research peerreviewed research papers.
Handson experience in pain research.
Strong background and skills in slice recording combined with optogenetic manipulation.
