We are searching for permanent parttime 0.8 FTE guaranteering 30 hours per week)Resident Attendants to join our Losier Hallteam based in Miramichi New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity
- Assists residents with hygiene and daily living activities such as: bathing dressing oral care skin care meals and mobilizing according to the work assignment;
- Collaborates with the resident and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Resident Care Plan;
- Assists in the planning and implementation of resident leisure activities on a daily basis;
- Assists with light housekeeping duties;
- Performs delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice;
- Communicates and reports relevant information regarding resident care or safety to Supervisor
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement collaboration and accountability you bring:
- A valid Personal Support Worker Acute Care diploma or Provincial Personal Care Worker course or equivalent;
- Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days nights weekends and holidays;
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire;
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification or BLS (required);
- Advanced proficiency in the English language is required proficiency in French considered an asset;
- Alzheimers and Dementia Care course considered an asset;
- Previous working experience with elderly in longterm care or a senior living environment an asset;
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations services and care
