Job Title: Residence Hall Dorm ParentLocation: Rice Memorial High School South Burlington VermontType: 10-Month Residential PositionCompensation: Includes stipend on-campus housing and meals during the academic yearPosition OverviewRice Memorial High School a co-educational Catholic college preparatory school serving grades 9 through post-graduate is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as a Residence Hall Proctor (Dorm Parent). This role is central to creating a safe supportive and inclusive living environment for students in our boarding Residence Hall Proctors responsibilities include but are not limited to:Residential Life Presence:Live in the residence hall during the academic available for various shifts (day evening/overnight weekends holidays) as Supervision & Support:Build a positive and inclusive dormitory safety and wellness checks including rounds lights out and room first aid or facilitate medical care in coordination with the school nurse or local medical Administration:Uphold and enforce boarding program rules and administrative tasks while on duty (phones forms attendance filing etc.).Supervise and support student events activities and drive shuttle buses for student pick up and drop off Community Building:Engage students in a hospitable and culturally respectful open communication and support students social and emotional Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other Residence Life Proctors and school sound judgment and decision-making especially under :Stipend and furnished housingMeals during the academic yearExperience in education residence life and youth mentorshipOpportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse communityTo Apply:Submit a cover letter resume and three references to Mike Mazzella Dean of Students at
