Job Description
Student Worker Social Media Management Intern
Number of Openings: 1
Purpose/Objective of the Role:
Help grow the visibility and brand of Ohio Wesleyan Esports by creating scheduling and managing content across social media platforms.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Create and post content for Instagram Twitter/X and other platforms
- Assist with promoting team achievements upcoming events and match results
- Collaborate with team staff on content ideas and campaign planning
- Capture and edit basic photos and videos at practices or events
- Monitor engagement and help grow follower count
- Maintain consistent branding and voice across platforms
Qualifications:
- Interest in esports digital media or marketing
- Strong writing and creative skills
- Familiarity with platforms like Instagram Twitter/X and Canva
- Organized dependable and able to meet deadlines
- Experience with video/photo editing is a plus
- Prior OWU involvement or esports experience helpful but not required
