We are seeking a Project Lead for all UK P8A International Contracts who will be responsible for the delivery of all oncontract Intercompany Work Transfers (IWT) for UK P8 International activity. This is a fulltime role based at either Bristol or London sites with some UK & International travel. You will be part of a Programme Management Team executing current P8 International contracts and supporting bid activity on new contracts as well as developing new growth programmes for the Fixed Wing Business within Boeing Defence UK.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and executing the project according to the Project Plan and Programme Baselines in line with the Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP)
• Effective management of Risk Issue and Opportunities (RIO) including the creation and management of handling plans
• Management of both crossfunctional and crosscultural teams fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture that drives performance across different geographical locations
• Cost schedule resource and budgetary management
• Lead all required governance to drive project performance facilitate accomplishment of project goals and ensure project coherence and alignment
• Act as the conduit to ensuring BDUK and BGS partnership strategy is executed across all functions
• Responsible for all associated BDUK reporting
• Primary contact for BDUK across all external engagements with BGS including external suppliers and Customers
• Responsible for the management and delivery of all bid & proposals inc IWT and others:
• Manage bid and proposals in accordance with the Integrated Bid Acquisition Process (IBAP)
• Lead the crossfunctional team in proposal development. This includes but is not limited to: requirements development developing bid strategy estimating and managing bid resources and driving gate reviews
• Work with the BGS P8A International Programme Management team to best integrate proposal activity into the prime proposal.
• Any other projects as required by the PM

Required Skills Qualifications or Experience

• Project Management
• Experience of managing projects ideally in the Defence or Aviation sector.
• Proficient in all MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Degreelevel candidate with experience in Defence/Commercial business.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams with international customers suppliers and partners.

• Comfortable in facilitating planning workshops with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to understand how to leverage best practice from the UK programme to drive efficiencies cross the international portfolio
• Able to travel internationally to support Customer demands up to 30 of the time
• Act as team lead for junior project managers within the FW Growth and P8A International Business Unit
