Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer.

GCIS partners with the City of Gold Coasts Water and Waste division to maintain renew and improve essential infrastructure under the Asset Lifecycle Delivery Service (ALDS) program. We are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes through collaboration innovation and operational excellence.

About the Role

This role is a perfect fit for a recent postgraduate looking to make a mark in the IT realm or a 1st or 2nd year helpdesk professional looking to add some data analytics and reporting experience to their career path. The role is based at our Arundel Office close to public transport with free parking ping pong table social events and coffee machine working Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Inhouse & onsite IT support for hardware applications and systems across the business including MS365 suite SAP SharePoint Excel Novus etc
• Process & Workflow Documentation analyse and map out processes recommend and implement enhancements provide training or workshops.
• Report & Analytics contribute to data ETL solutions including analysis using Excel Power Query/Automate etc
• Stakeholder Management liaison between IT department Helpdesk and internal stakeholders
• Perform other duties as required and as within scope of expertise to meet business requirements.

About You

• Experience with databases in platforms like MSSQL MySQL
• Experience in Python JavaScript and other associated frameworks is an advantage
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Problemsolving skills with a keen interest in technology for automation and efficiency
• Effective communication skills with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• A knack for prioritising tasks managing time efficiently and handling occasional pressure
• Some industry helpdesk experience would be a great advantage
• Class C vehicle license would be beneficial to travel between sites
