The Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery College of Medicine University of Tennessee Health Science Center is recruiting Rhinologist at Assistant/Associate Professor full time faculty position with tenuretrack potential.
The ideal candidate would possess strong clinical training and have demonstrated potential for teaching patient care and clinical research. The successful candidate would have access to a dedicated research fellow enjoy academic collaboration with other departments across the institution and be involved in the training of our otolaryngology residents (we match four residents per year).
More specifically at our main clinical site we have an unmet need for both general otolaryngologic and advanced rhinology/skull base care and the successful candidate would initially provide roughly 50 general otolaryngology and 50 tertiary rhinology/skull base services with the ability to customize his or her practice according to their preferences with time. Due to recent growth at UTHSC we have four endoscopically trained neurosurgeons and there is a significant unmet need for skull base surgery coverage so comfort with the management of complex inflammatory disease and skull base pathology is desired. General otolaryngology call coverage is shared amongst faculty in the department.
