Job Description

Marketing Coordinator

Kahler Slater is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with 3 years of experience who is enthusiastic about providing marketing and new business development support to our firm brand and business teams.

Our ideal Marketing Coordinator candidate will be a vital part of our Marketing Team which supports our various business teams on a variety of tasks including pursuits database management event coordination website maintenance and social media. The ideal candidate will have a marketing or communications background and strong graphic design skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities of a Marketing Coordinator:

Pursuit and Business Development Support
  • Support Marketing Managers across various business teams as needed in the production of portfolio and proposal responses presentations thought leadership and other marketing documents
  • Utilize marketing templates while maintaining Kahler Slater brand/within branding guidelines (Adobe InDesign Word Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Monitor and participate in lead tracking premarketing activities and client/competitor/industry research
  • Assist marketing staff to develop material milestones and maintain deadlines
  • Schedule marketing or business development meetings premeeting prep meeting minutes and postmeeting follow up communications
Conference and Event Support
  • Coordinate conference registrations exhibitor and speaking requirements attendees and travel logistics pre and post event meetings and needs as requested
  • Monitor conference and sponsorship requirements dates and ROI measurements
  • Coordinate gather and ship exhibit and print materials
Database Support
  • Maintain team member and project data within our CRM database (Vantagepoint)
  • Assist in tracking marketing efforts within our CRM database including followup and results information
  • Assist in business development efforts including adding contacts maintaining mailing lists and other duties as assigned within the CRM
Firm MarketingSupport
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed for the Marketing team
  • Support and execute social media (LinkedIn Facebook Instagram)
  • Support the organization of firm branding including website maintenance publicity client communications photography coordination award submissions and office events
Knowledge Skills and Abilities of a Marketing Coordinator:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or relevant work experience
  • 35 years of prior experience in similar role
  • Experience in architectural engineering or construction industry preferred
  • Willingness to learn help and grow
  • Maintains confidentialityand discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to design layouts in Adobe InDesign and Powerpoint
  • Experience in CRM management
  • Must be efficient organized able to work with minimal supervision and direction
  • Strong communication skills spoken and written
  • Efficiently responds to marketing requests
  • Successful teamorientation and collaboration behaviors
  • Effective time management with multiple deadlines
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines while maintaining a focused positive attitude
Working Relationships and Scope of a Marketing Coordinator:
  • Reports to Director of Marketing
  • Collaborate with senior marketing and business development team members
  • Work in a collaborative studio environment mix of virtual and in person
  • Represents the firm in alignment with Kahler Slaters core values
Working Conditions of a Marketing Coordinator:
Work is performed in a professional collaborative creative open office environment. Great flexibility in your schedule is both required of you and returned to you due to our many project deadlines. Occasional travel is expected as it relates to servicing clients and professional development.
