Job Description
Position Title:
Mechanic/Electrician
3rd shift
Pay Rate:
$45.18/Hr $0.26 Shift Differential
Category/Shift:
Hourly FullTime 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. MondayFriday)
Physical Location:
Des Plaines Container
100 E. Oakton St.
Des Plaines IL
The Job You Will Perform:
- Industrial maintenance/mechanic electrician will perform routine preventive maintenance and repair of machines.
- Troubleshoot emergency maintenance on machines as necessary to support plant operations.
- Troubleshoot industrial electrical hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical failures
- Reads manages and performs work orders of required maintenance services.
The Skills You Will Bring:
- 3 years in industrial manufacturing
- PLC troubleshooting inputs/outputs and changeouts of programs
- Experience with Factory Talk or similar HMI software
- Photo eyes sensors limit switches and solenoids
- Repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems (line controls)
- Mechanical Systems (bearings chains sprockets gearboxes)
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics
- High and Low Voltage
- Ability to operate a multimeter to diagnose a variety of electrical issues
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel crouch or crawl and talk or hear.
