Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customerfocused IT Specialist (Intern) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for all ITrelated issues. This position requires an individual who can provide prompt and effective support ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via chat email or phone.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues providing stepbystep instructions to guide users through solutions.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higherlevel support teams as necessary.
  • Keep record of problems and their resolution by maintaining technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the setup configuration and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
  • Support users with software installation email configuration and other ITrelated tasks.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to users to improve their understanding of IT systems.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Provide needed information on IT products or services that are based on Global IT processes.
  • Provide IT Support to offices based in SEA in accordance with the timezone.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional IT certifications are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role preferred.
  • Good understanding of computer systems mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing English and a local language.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Candidate ideally must be agile and has a positive attitude.
  • Team and service oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
