POSITION NAME:
POSITION TITLE (ENGLISH): IT Infrastructure Lead
REPORTING TO: Asst. Manager IT
REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore
WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore
NUMBER OF FTEs UNDER RESPONSIBILITY: None
SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:
The main objective of this position is to deliver high quality infrastructure support by detailing functional and non-functional requirements

Job description:
Hands on experience on managing day to day operations of IT Infrastructure;
Hands on experience VMWare NetApp storage Commvault Backup & Recovery;
Good knowledge on Licensing (Microsoft VMWare Storage);
Collaborative worker and teambuilding ability;
Resolve operational problems within the defined schedules and service level agreements;
Analyze root causes of operational malfunctions and provide resolutions;
Monitor system operations and troubleshoot problems;
Install support and maintain network and system tools;
Develop support plan to prioritize and resolve multiple issues;
Contribute to business meetings and report on issue status;
Experience in migrating workloads from on prem to Cloud and vice-versa;
Ability to handle escalations and drive to conclusion;
Coordinate with multiple regional teams on discussion planning manage overall implementations of projects;
Adherence to company policy and procedures; educate team on new policy changes;
Handling operational escalations;
Working with various Infra teams to resolve issues;
Assisting service desk team if any escalation or support required;
Handling Incidents problem service & event management;
Needs to perform periodic audits of Server rooms hub rooms;
Preparing operational reports stats and present to higher management at times;
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
