Summary of Role
GlobalFoundries Fab 1 is seeking an Engineer Technology Development & Yield to support the 300mm semiconductor process integration and Yield team within the FeatureRich product line organization. This role involves Yield analysis and debugging tasks and can include managing process integration topics from development to production. A solid background in electrical engineering and statistics along with problemsolving skills is . The candidate should demonstrate a technical understanding of various processes and use a balanced scorecard approach to develop sustain and improve the technologies with quality cost and delivery.
Your Job
Perform Yield analysis for experimental lots and production material
Perform effective data mining identify understand and resolve complex process integration issues based on Yield detractors
Develop and improve yield characterization and data analysis methodologies to rapidly determine yield limiters correlation to inline defectivity metrology and electrical parametric signals
Generate new SORT test programs for development projects
Work with cross function teams e.g. physical failure analysis team to resolve technical & Yield concerns.
Drive CIPs continuous improvement plans) to deliver organizational goals.
Understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
Work and collaborate on additional projects and/or assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
Graduated with a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering Materials Science Solid State Physics or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline from an accredited program.
Excellent data analysis and problemsolving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and Ability to work effectively and efficiently with multicultural teams clients as well as internal and external partners.
Language Fluency English (Written & Verbal)
Travel Up to 10
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree or PhD
Prior related internship or coop experience.
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace school projects or competitions
Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE)
Strong planning & organizational skills
