The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with the Human Resources group and internal clients to drive forward our purpose of providing Peace of Mind to our clients and our employees.Talent Acquisition Specialists play a pivotal role in sourcing attracting and selecting toptier candidates to join our company. This position is also an important role in supporting the of different human resources functions.
What you will be responsible for:
Candidate Screening & Interview Coordination
- Review resumes and applications to identify candidates that meet the required qualifications for both union and nonunion positions.
- Conduct initial phone screens and assessments to evaluate candidates suitability for specific roles.
- Provide guidance and support to interviewers to ensure a structured and effective interview process.
Recruitment Strategy
- Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards social media networking and industry events to identify and engage potential candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies that align with the companys goals and values.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the companys employer brand by creating compelling job postings engaging content and fostering positive interactions with candidates.
Candidate Experience
- Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience from initial contact through the entire recruitment process.
- Provide timely communication feedback and updates to candidates.
- When applicable consider candidates for different positions based on their skills and qualifications.
Compliance and Diversity
- Ensure adherence to relevant labor laws and regulations while promoting diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the recruitment process.
Onboarding
- Complete full cycle onboarding process for new hires with the help of the OHS and Ops
- Promote the Companys reputation as an employer of choice
- Coordinate with various departments and hiring managers to ensure all necessary equipment access and resources are ready for new hires on their start date
- Act as a resource for new hires answering questions addressing concerns and providing guidance during the initial onboarding period.
Market Research & Data Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends competitor practices and emerging recruitment technologies to continuously improve the talent acquisition process.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make datadriven recommendations for process improvements.
Record Keeping:
- Updates employee files as necessary.
Employee Relations:
- Collaborate with management to deliver HR programs aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure a consistent approach on the performance management process and tools employee relations matters and HR compliance.
- Facilitate exit interviews with departing employees to gather feedback on their experience and reasons for leaving ensuring confidentiality and professionalism throughout the process.
- Facilitate and execute the job abandonment process for employees who have stopped responding to work ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

What we need from you:
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter preferably in a fastpaced corporate environment preferably 2 years.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of modern recruiting practices tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
- Experience with employer branding and social media recruitment is a plus.
