We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team focusing on the mining and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing with a comprehensive understanding of both the mining and construction industries and a commitment to occupational safety and health (OSH) standards. This position requires a proactive approach to sales excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while achieving sales targets.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the mining and construction sectors including mining companies contractors suppliers and construction firms.
Utilize your knowledge of Work at Heights and confined space standards to provide expert advice and recommendations to clients.
Demonstrate honesty diligence and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions and address client needs.
Facilitate training sessions for clients on product usage safety protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each client.
Continuously expand your technical knowledge and stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies.
Work independently to identify and pursue new business opportunities with a focus on achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
Certificate / Diploma in Sales Marketing Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in external sales preferably within the mining sector.
Comprehensive grasp of Work at Heights and confined space standards with a commitment to promoting safety in the workplace.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
Technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex concepts to clients.
Selfmotivated and driven to learn and adapt in a dynamic industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
Experience in the construction or mining industries is ideal.
Ability to work at heights is essential; experience in training is advantageous.
Experience facilitating training sessions for clients.
Previous exposure to technical sales or application engineering.
Familiarity with CRM software for managing client relationships and sales activities.
