Job Description
Overview: As a Technical Delivery Manager specializing in Elastic Enterprise Search implementation within the retail sector you will be responsible for overseeing the successful deployment and management of Elastic Enterprise Search to migrate search functionality from SOLR to Elastic within client retail ecosystem. Your role will involve leading a team of engineers collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring the seamless integration of Elastic Search to meet business objectives. Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the endtoend implementation of Elastic Search implementation project within the clients retail environment ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate deep understanding and handson experience with Elastics enterprise Search solution including configuration indexing queries optimization and troubleshooting. Team Leadership: Manage a team of engineers providing guidance support and mentorship throughout the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including business stakeholders developers and data scientists to understand requirements and align Elastics Search solution with business objectives. Solution Design: Work closely with architects and engineers to design scalable and efficient Elastic Search solution tailored to the retail domain considering factors such as product catalog management inventory optimization and customer behavior analysis. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Implement robust monitoring tools and processes to track Elastic Search performance metrics identify bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with Elastics Search solution implementation ensuring data security compliance and disaster recovery measures are in place. Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation best practices and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure effective utilization of Elastic Search technology across the organization. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of search and data analytics leveraging new tools and methodologies to drive innovation and improve business outcomes. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience 10 years) in technical project management with a focus on implementing Elastic Enterprise Search solution within the retail sector. Technical Skills: Indepth knowledge of Elastic Search including setup configuration query optimization and cluster management. Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders drive consensus and resolve conflicts. ProblemSolving: Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a track record of successfully overcoming technical challenges and delivering innovative solutions. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments with proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Advanced certifications in Elastic Search are preferred Retail Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with retail operations including ecommerce platforms inventory management systems and customer data analytics is preferred. Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams and adapt to evolving business requirements.
