Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a PCBA Soldering Technician to join our team that produce a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).

Primary Responsibilities

This position involves hand soldering of surface mount and throughhole components on low medium and high density printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Soldering/working under a microscope
Applicants must be able to perform rework of various electronic packages including resistors capacitors throughhole parts and replacement of finepitch components
Work to achieve daytoday objectives and have significant impact on the work output.
Work independently under limited supervision
Work in team environment and interacting with different functions project teams and productions teams
A surface mount soldering test will be given as part of the interview process.


Basic Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED with at least 24 years of prior relevant work experience
Experience soldering under a microscope
Ability to solder surface mount and throughhole components
Must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications
Current or prior certification in IPCA610
Current or prior certification in JSTD001

Pay Range:

Pay Range $46800.00 $84600.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
