Quartzy is seeking a high energy Account ManagerField Sales to manage key Quartzy accounts in our academic segment. In this role youll build relationships with new accounts in order to maximize purchasing spend and grow adoption of the platform.
Youre the type of person who is motivated by building relationships. Its easy for you to communicate with others by both listening and empathizing as well as getting your point across in a clear and concise manner. Youre naturally curious and dont stop asking questions until you fully understand the situation. While you are competitive by nature you like working in a team environment and are motivated by the success of those around you. You should be accustomed to handling your own pipeline and meeting demanding quotas.

What Youll Do
Drive New Lab Acquisition: Identify and onboard new labs at key academic institutions maximizing early engagement and platform adoption.
Field Engagement: Spend 3 days weekly in the field building relationships with lab managers and researchers hosting events and aligning Quartzys solutions with customer needs.
Sales Strategy : Tailor sales strategies to each account leveraging insights to enhance Quartzys value for specific lab goals.
Account Development: Expand Quartzys presence in new and existing labs boosting purchasing spend and platform use.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to integrate customer feedback and deliver exceptional service.
Market Intelligence: Gather insights on competitors and market trends during field visits to sharpen our strategy.
What Were Looking For
2 years sales or account management experience with proven track record of overachievement
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Fantastic written and verbal communication ability
Eager to learn and grow
Bachelors degree or considerable and relevant work experience
A tech savvy person who is experienced working with a variety of different technology (we use Salesforce Outreach and other sales automation/enablement tools)
Interest (or a background) in life science would be helpful
Prior experience working / selling in the field

$85000 $105000 a year
OTE: $135000 $155000
All regular fulltime employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program excluding sales who are eligible for performance based variable sales incentives. Quartzy takes a marketbased approach to pay and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range for this position represents the low middle and high end of the salary possibilities for this position based on all US locations. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidates skills experience market demands and internal parity. Salary is just one component of our total rewards package. The salary ranges may be modified in the future.
