ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic engineering team. As a DBA you will be responsible for managing RDBMS and NoSQL solutions optimizing performance implementing replication and high availability and providing support to development teams. Troubleshooting and problemsolving will be a key part of your role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- Performance tuning
- Implement and manage replication high availability partitioning / sharding
- Assist development teams in creating optimizing and problem solve with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- Troubleshooting
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Expertlevel experience with at least one of MySQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
- Strong command of SQL (DDL DML DCL)
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
- Proficiency in Linux
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- A plus if: Experience with Python or Bash scripting. Familiarity with InfrastructureasCode tooling
