Job Description

High School English Language Arts TeacherWillow Hill School is hiring a High School English Language Arts Teacher for School in 1970 Willow Hill School provides a supportive and individualized educational program for middle and high school students who are capable of advancing along a strong academic curriculum but have experienced frustration in earlier school settings. Located in Sudbury MA our school consists of students in grades 6 through and Responsibilities:Teach 56 sections English Language Arts classes to groups of up to 8 studentsDifferentiate instruction and scaffold assignments to meet the needs of our diverse learning populationAct as an advisor to a small group of 34 studentsWrite progress reports and narratives detailing student progressCollaborate with other faculty staff and administration to continuously meet the changing needs of our studentsAttend and actively participate in weekly Staff MeetingsCollaborate with other departments to coordinate efforts for student supportDesired Qualifications and Skills:Bachelors Degree Masters Degree preferredPrevious experience teaching children with learning differences or other special needs in a school ability to build trusting relationships with students and adultsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Commitment to schools mission values and visionAbility to collaborate and work in a team environmentWillow Hill School offers competitive salaries and a generous benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance plans as well as providing an employer contribution to a retirement candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to Colleen Morris Chief Finance Officer at
