DISTRAN Packaged Substations is looking to hire a Welding Technician to work from our Port of Alexandria Facility in our Welding Department. The Welding Technician assists FBS Welders who perform cutting fitting and welding of aluminum bus pipe and cable jumpers. The Technician supports the production process of the PFB in the Project Services Center. The Technician performs skilled work such as reading blueprints moving machinery or equipment including cranes in order to manipulate the pipe or jumpers. The Welder performs duties with speed and accuracy in order to keep a steady flow of productivity.
