Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is seeking an Associate Aircraft Machinist to support the team in North Charleston South Carolina on 2nd shift!
Position Responsibilities:
Reads and interprets moderately complex blueprint drawings and specifications to setup and machine items to fabricate out of sequence emergent production parts as required using manual and CNC machines.
Develops and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry.
Assists other machinists in completing job responsibilities.
Follows detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Minimum 1 year experience reading and interpreting machine code data (MCD).
Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC machines
Ability to work 2nd Shift.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience:
Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing experience.
787 Program Experience.
Experience in a team environment.
Experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions electrical schematics and reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings
Experience using manual mill and lathe machines.
Experience setting up and fixtures operating and programming CNC machines i.e. with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
Experience setting up NC/CNC machines including probing and using dial indicators to establish set points.
