Job Title: Senior SAP Payroll Specialist
Location: Hybrid (Partial Remote Onsite as needed)

Optiremote Americas LLC specializes in providing expert SAP consulting services to businesses across the U.S. We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Payroll Specialist to manage and enhance payroll operations within SAP ECC supporting our clients in a hybrid work model.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP Payroll Specialist with 11 years of handson experience in executing complex payroll processes supporting payroll compliance and troubleshooting backend technical issues within SAP ECC. The ideal candidate will be an expert in U.S. payroll operations and capable of resolving both functional and technical payroll challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the of complex payroll operations using SAP ECC Payroll.

Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations.

Manage payroll audits reconciliations and compliance reporting.

Diagnose troubleshoot and debug payrollrelated issues collaborating with technical teams as needed.

Monitor system performance and proactively resolve payroll integration issues.

Advise HR and Finance teams on payroll best practices and system optimizations.

Support payroll system upgrades testing and new feature deployments.

Mentor junior payroll specialists and assist in developing payroll process documentation.
MustHave Qualifications:

11 years of SAP Payroll (ECC) handson experience including U.S. Payroll.

Indepth expertise in executing and managing complex payroll runs.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills (basic technical SAP knowledge).

Familiarity with SAP HR modules and time evaluation processes.

Experience with payroll compliance audits and reporting.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
NicetoHave Qualifications:

SAP S/4HANA Payroll exposure.

ABAP debugging skills to assist with technical troubleshooting.

Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

Experience integrating payroll with thirdparty benefits and time management systems.
Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: Primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings based on project needs.

Must be flexible to attend onsite workshops or sessions as required.
