Job Description
Roles & responsibilities
Financial Accounting Reporting & Compliance
- Lead and manage the daytoday accounting operations across multiple entities ensuring accurate and timely closure of monthly quarterly and annual financials in line with the finance calendar.
- Ensure strict adherence to applicable accounting standards regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Drive implementation and compliance with internal financial controls processes and systems across accounting functions.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements and coordinate statutory and internal audits.
- Oversee Direct & Indirect Tax compliance including timely filing tax audits and handling assessments.
- Liaise with government authorities for tax assessments notices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure internal controls are effectively implemented across revenue expenses fixed assets inventory cash & bank management.
Financial Planning & Management
- Partner with business stakeholders in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare and monitor Annual Budgets Financial Projections and conduct variance analysis against actual performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement across business units.
- Manage cash flows working capital and oversee the inventory cycle ensuring achievement of financial KPIs.
- Monitor overdue receivables and implement strategies for effective collections.
- Prepare and present periodic MIS reports dashboards and financial analysis for management and investors including ratio analysis and business metrics.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team driving a culture of high performance continuous learning and operational excellence.
- Foster collaboration within the team and with crossfunctional stakeholders.
- Ensure skill development and capability enhancement of team members to meet evolving business requirements.
- Uphold compliance with all financial regulations laws and internal standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1012 years of postqualification experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in core Finance & Accounts and 5 years in a managerial leadership role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in financial accounting taxation budgeting and reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP is mandatory.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel PowerPoint and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial ratios KPIs and industryspecific reporting metrics.
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and work in a multilocation setup.
