As part of the IT team of OCI to lead and provide helpdesk support to the staff within the organization including user requirements and management user support.
Key Deliverables:
- Undertake internal troubleshooting of all IS issues relating to hardware and software.
- Supervise the helpdesk and respond to IS support requests/tickets assigned in a timely manner to ensure minimum disruption.
- Gain necessary IS skills to support the latest hardware and software technology products.
- Provide Hardware/ Software/ management support.
- Maintain IS inventory both software and hardware.
- Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
- Liaise with suppliers and external support companies as required for support and procurement.
- You will be responsible for uptime of infrastructure services and their routine monitoring updating and trouble shooting. (servers firewall and DR).
- Provide user support for internet WiFi requests for all management users and at the helpdesk.
- You will be responsible for settingup/modification of email accounts for users.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and handling of all MES related issues in barcode printers and MES Industrial PC including security of the same.
- Assist for all IS related enquiries and followups for the management of OCI
- You will be Responsible for configuring OCI owned smart phones and tablets.
- Handle issues related to PABX hardware and software
- Responsible for coordination for the Annual Maintenance of PCs plotters UPS and Data Centre.
- Responsible for update and maintenance of time management servers and hardware including security.
- Manage all related support warranty and outsourced contract.
- Responsible for providing branch office support including users and connectivity.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency of processes and reduction of costs.
- Patch management: push patches and new version of software from the patch server.
- Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
- Responsible for print solution and contract management.
- Responsible to assist the head of the department in formulating the annual budget of the specialized area including user requirements and server related cost inputs.
- Ensure the limits approved in the annual budget are maintained and adhered to.
- Responsible for cloud email services and related contracts.
- Act as second level point of escalation for all IS related queries/ requests including the for the CCTV system.
- Responsible for setting up the IS infrastructure including management of the same at the conference and board rooms at OCI.

Qualifications:
- Graduate in Computer Science/ Information Technology.
- IT certification preferred (Azure MCSE CCNA).
