Job Description

Position Title: Business Development Manager
Reports To: Director of Business Development
Location: Riyadh Anas Ibn Malik Rd. Alyasmin Dist.
Department: Business Development

Overview:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth within the company. They develop a network of contacts to attract new clients research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects. They also manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
    • Analyze market trends competition and potential customers.
    • Evaluate and present new business opportunities to senior management.
  2. Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement business development strategies.
    • Identify and target potential clients and decisionmakers.
    • Create strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets and business goals.
  3. Client Acquisition:
    • Generate leads and cold call prospective clients.
    • Foster and develop relationships with potential clients.
    • Understand the needs of clients and respond effectively with a plan of action.
    • Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential clients.
  4. Relationship Management:
    • Build longterm relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Ensure clients are satisfied and receive the services they need.
    • Manage and retain relationships with existing clients.
  5. Proposal Development:
    • Write and oversee the creation of proposals and client contracts.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proposals and contracts are comprehensive and beneficial to both parties.
  6. Project Management:
    • Oversee the implementation of new business initiatives.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Liaise with the finance team warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate.
  7. Networking:
    • Attend seminars conferences and events to network with industry professionals.
    • Build and maintain a professional network to expand the companys business reach.
  8. Reporting:
    • Track and report on the status of new business initiatives.
    • Prepare and present reports on business development activities and achievements.
  9. Others:
    • Stay uptodate with digital technology & market trends.
    • Manage communications through in person by phone media relations social media etc.
    • Help build positive relations within the team.
    • Prepare daily weekly monthly and quarterly reports to client and top management.
    • Represent the company in internal and external meetings/committees/organizations with excellence
    • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
    • Support other team members as needed and when required
    • Proficiency in both written Arabic and English is required
    • Additional may be given as needed and when neede.
    • Flexibility to accommodate afterhours commitments as needed.
    • Willingness to work on weekends when necessary.
    • Flexibility to travel as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in business development sales or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record / experience in business development or sales or a relevant role.
    • Excellent at building proposals & reports with design.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and financial data.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
    • Experience in customer support is a plus
    • Market knowledge
    • Time management and planning skills
