Overview:

Aarons is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR function through a time of strategic evolution. Based onsite at our Atlanta Galleria office 4 days per week this leader will serve as a key advisor to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) ensuring HR is positioned not just to solve todays challenges but to shape our future.

The ideal candidate will bring structure accountability and consistency across HR practices while championing a culture that puts people before production.

What You Need:

  • 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience including at the executive level with Board or Csuite exposure
  • Strong track record of executive influence crossfunctional partnership and stakeholder alignment at all levels
  • Proven ability to build and lead highperforming HR teams empowering leaders to execute with clarity and accountability
  • Deep expertise in designing and deploying HR scorecards KPIs and analytics to connect people strategy with measurable business outcomes
  • Demonstarted success leading enterprisewide transformation and culture change across complex multiunit environments (retail or consumerfacing industries preferred)
  • Broad expertise across all core HR functions including Talent Acquisition Employee Experience HR Operations Total Rewards Employee Relations Payroll and Culture Shaping
  • Strong business and legal acumen; knowledge of employment laws across multiple jurisdictions

What Youll Do:

  • Executive Partnership & Strategic Leadership
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the ELT and crossfunctional partners aligning people strategy with evolving business priorities
    • Influence executive decisionmaking by providing thought leadership and datadriven insights
    • Represent HR perspectives with professionalism and presence in executive and Boardlevel settings
  • Culture & Organizational Transformation
    • Foster a culture of transparency collaboration and longterm trust across the organization
    • Lead forwardthinking initiatives to strengthen talent development inclusion and belonging
    • Champion culture transformation efforts that balance operational growth with a peoplefirst mindset
  • HR Strategy & Operational Excellence
    • Drive the continued evolution of HR practices to enhance agility responsiveness and structure
    • Oversee the effectiveness of core HR functions ensuring alignment consistency and compliance
    • Elevate total rewards strategies to remain competitive costeffective and responsive to team member needs
    • Guide HR planning through scorecards KPIs and people analytics that link strategy to business outcomes
  • Talent Development & Team Leadership
    • Cultivate and coach a highperforming HR leadership team empowering leaders across all areas of HR
    • Lead intentional development efforts for HR team members with varied levels of experience and scope
    • Build a culture of accountability learning and continuous improvement within the HR function
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
    • Oversee companywide talent acquisition strategy ensuring alignment with workforce needs
    • Partner with external providers and internal teams to ensure a strong applicant pipeline especially for store locations
    • Advance employer brand and candidate experience in support of attracting toptier talent
