Job Title: Corporate and Commercial Solicitor 23 years PQE)
Location: York
Salary: DOE
We are working with a leading Yorkshire law firm in their search for a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor to join their expanding York office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 23 years PQE to progress their career within a supportive and forwardthinking team. The firm is renowned for its excellent client service and dynamic approach offering a great environment to grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Transactions: Advise on mergers acquisitions joint ventures and business sales and purchases.
- Commercial Contracts: Draft review and negotiate a range of commercial contracts including supply distribution and service agreements.
- Client Interaction: Provide clear practical legal advice to a broad client base including SMEs ownermanaged businesses and large corporations.
- Business Development: Actively engage in business development and networking activities to help grow the firms client base.
- Compliance and Risk: Ensure all corporate and commercial matters adhere to legal and regulatory compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will:
- Have 23 years PQE in Corporate and Commercial Law with a solid understanding of corporate transactions and commercial contracts.
- Be confident managing a caseload with minimal supervision whilst delivering highquality work.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Be proactive in business development and keen to contribute to the continued growth of the department.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and be highly organised with a focus on meeting deadlines.
