Job Description
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review approved mortgage loans to determine conditions needed prior to closing
- Verify accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents (title insurance tax forms etc.
- Assemble documents for delivery to the title company broker or lending officer for closing
- Prepare closing packages/documents/disclosures
- Ensure mortgage as a whole meets all mortgage compliance regulations
- Other duties as assigned by the Mortgage Closing Manager or management
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of the Loan Origination System and other computer software systems
- At least 2 years experience in the mortgage industry preferably in mortgage closing
