Who were looking for

The Mortgage Loan Officer provides high-quality personalized service to team members by promptly addressing mortgage inquiries and referrals including those from relocation partners. This role involves effectively communicating loan options and structuring handling rate lock requests and guiding clients through the mortgage process.

Reporting to the National Manager of Banking Operations and Servicing the person in this role is essential for ensuring a seamless mortgage experience for all stakeholders involved.

This position does not involve cold calling prospecting or sales targets. Performance will be evaluated based on service quality customer feedback and application turnaround.

What youll be doing

  • Deliver high-touch white-glove service by responding quickly to team member mortgage inquiries and referrals.

  • Communicate effectively with potential clients providing comprehensive information on mortgage products loan structuring and addressing rate lock inquiries or requests.

  • Accurately complete loan applications and gather necessary supporting documentation.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the mortgage process.

  • Prioritize timeliness and responsiveness fostering strong partnerships with all participants in the mortgage loan fulfillment process to ensure timely loan closings.

  • Loan Applications & Customer Service:

    • Consult with team members and recommend appropriate mortgage products that best meet client needs. Structure and negotiate loans. Obtain loan applications from team members collect supporting documentation track loans in the pipeline follow-up as needed for loan conditions and assist with coordinating loan closing.

    • Collect and analyze customers documentation for submission to the fulfillment vendor for review and approval.

    • Assess Team Member credit requests and all aspects of the loan process to ensure the bank is compliant with company and regulatory policies and guidelines. Ensure service quality and turnaround standards are met.

    • Pipeline management and effective communication with the fulfillment vendor and mortgage operations team to ensure timely orders of 3rd party documents such as appraisal and title.

    • Serve as subject matter expert on the various programs and loan benefits to better advise clients.

    • Key Contact for TMB Support and Service: Act as SME for TMB products: Mortgage Loans and Relocation Mortgage Loans.

  • Achieve or exceed bank customer satisfaction objectives.

What you bring

  • Education: High School Diploma Required

  • Experience: 5 Years in Mortgage Origination Experience Required

  • Excellent Customer Service/Communication Skills

  • Ability to handle a pipeline of 10 loans per month

  • Knowledge in the mortgage process from preapproval to funding

  • NMLS License in at least one state

Added bonus if you have

  • Education: Bachelors Degree

  • Experience working in Calyx Path

  • Experience in Residential Loan Processing
