At Falkirk we specialize in comprehensive maintenance solutions for rotating machinery serving sectors such as Wind/Hydro Power Renewable Energy Oil & Gas and Water. Our High Voltage Service Centre of Excellnce underpinned by significant investments have enhanced our capabilities enabling us to reduce repair times and boost productivity ensuring minimal downtime for our customers.
As an Electro Mechanical Technician you will:
Diagnose dismantle inspect and repair various rotating equipment including high and low voltage AC motors and generators
Perform mechanical fitting alignment and assembly of rotating machinery and components.
Conduct electrical testing faultfinding and rewinding of motors and generators.
Collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records of work performed ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
What You Bring:
Recognized Electrical/Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or qualification.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills with experience in the repair and maintenance of motors pumps and other rotating machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings wiring diagrams and schematics.
Proficiency in faultfinding diagnostics and troubleshooting.
A proactive approach to problemsolving and continuous improvement.
Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
