Job Description

Make an impact

As an analyst you will assist the deal team with our growing portfolio of opportunity zone development deals within the Northeastern United States (including New York City Washington DC Atlanta Boston). This job will be located in Bridges Salt Lake City Utah office.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Create and operate financial models for new development projects to identify attractive investment opportunities
  • Underwrite multifamily industrial office retail and mixeduse investment opportunities
  • Conduct market research to understand target investment areas and inform key modeling assumptions
  • Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with asset managers and the property management team to maximize asset profitability and streamline reporting
  • Evaluate construction and permanent financing opportunities and assess the impact of debt on the projects
  • Prepare presentations documenting investment opportunities as well as project performance summaries
  • Underwrite multiple projects weekly in an efficient and thorough manner

What you should bring

  • A bachelors degree in a businessrelated field (preferably finance or real estate)
  • A real estate career focus
  • 13 years of real estate underwriting experience
  • A strong quantitative mindset
  • Mastery working in excel and related finance formulas
  • Excitement for financial models
  • Clear interpersonal and communication skills

Bridge Development Fund Manager is a specialized group made up of architects contractors and developers and investment management professionals who focus on the acquisitions development construction and asset management of real estate assets related to qualified opportunity zones. We evaluate and act on investment opportunities that provide strong returns for our investors. In just three years our vertical has grown from six projects under construction to over 70 today. This growth has been possible because of our teams tremendous work ethic ability to implement best practices at a fast pace and our ability to trust each other while we focus on the goals ahead. We work very hard but also maintain a healthy worklife balance and the atmosphere of respect and lighthearted interaction makes our jobs very rewarding.

  • 401K:Bridge Investment Group will match your contributions dollarfordollar up to 6 of your pay. These contributions are fully vested immediately. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled at a 4 contribution rate. *The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
  • Paid Time Off: Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
  • 11 Paid Holidays per year.
  • Following six 6 months of employment at the Company you will be eligible per birth adoption or placement of a child for four 4 weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth adoption or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5000 per year of preapproved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
