This is an excellent opportunity to join King County Parks team as a Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker (Parks Specialist I) and make a difference while enjoying the great outdoors.
About the Role:
As a vital member of the Parks Seasonal team you will be performing a variety of work tasks such as landscaping athletic field maintenance trail building and maintenance construction and demolition invasive removal restoration planting and working with volunteer groups etc. Work is performed outdoors and in all types of weather conditions. Come join us on our mission to steward our public lands for future generations.
Seasonal Job Duration: Up to six months from April 15 October 15 2025. Both fulltime and parttime shifts available

Qualifications you bring:
Working Conditions
Work Location: Various King County Parks locations. Seasonals are responsible for their own transportation to and from assigned work locations. Please note that many of our reporting locations may not be served by public transportation.
Work Schedule: Temporary Seasonal Positions up to 6 months of work from April 15 October 15. This position can work up to 40 hours per week and is overtime eligible. Work weeks vary depending on work assignment and location; shifts may include weekends and evening work. Hours of operation are from 5:30 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Saturday.
