You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe HVAC Systems Technician will perform senior level service and repair work for the campus commercial HVAC Systems. Provide support to maintain campus EMS (Energy Management System). Will work with other shops to help troubleshoot mechanical electrical and control systems.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. This position is very active and requires standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching and crawling all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
High school diploma or equivalent; Technical Degree in related trade/field preferred;
35 years HVAC experience including installation troubleshooting operations maintenance and repair in a commercial setting
Experience in troubleshoot and identify HVAC and control issues
Basic computer proficiency/skills;
Ability to selfstart work independently and complete work orders in a timely manner;
Strong customer service focus;
Knowledge and familiarity of safety standards and regulations;
Ability to see details at close range;
Ability to listen and understand spoken information and ideas;
Ability to lift push pull or carry objects;
Ability to bend stretch twist or reach with your body arms and/or legs;
Ability to work at heights of 20 feet and above;
Ability to work outside in various temperatures (summer/winter) for extended periods of time;
Ability to be oncall on a rotational schedule
